Description: 2 large-scale site-specific murals, Private Commission for a appartment in Warsaw.
“I wanted to take the messy, beautiful energy of the coast and ‘spell it out’ on these walls. By stripping the sea down to its basic shapes ,its syllables, the murals turn a quiet apartment into a space that feels like it’s constantly breathing and moving, even when everything is still.”
The rhythm of seaside landscapes is deconstructed into a series of sharp, ink-dark silhouettes. These forms don’t just sit on the wall; they “drift” across the architectural space, creating a permanent visual dialogue between the static nature of a home and the restless movement of the ocean. The project explores the silent rhythms of nature by stripping away the representational “noise” of a seaside landscape, leaving behind only the essential silhouettes—the “syllables”,that define the scene.
