Description: With 30 site-specific murals, this project transforms Warsaw’s new urban environment into a playground of rhythm and form.
“In this project, I wanted to examine the tension between the mechanization of contemporary life and the fluid forms of human ritual. By treating the facade as a pulse and the corridors as a rhythm, the architecture becomes a palimpsest of movement shifting from heavy mechanical energy to the light, quiet traces of home.”
The project functions as a visual dialogue with the building’s internal logic:
The Heavy Pulse (Elevators): Near the vertical veins of the building, the elevators, the lines become dense and heavy, mirroring the mechanical weight and kinetic energy of ascent and descent.
The Light Flow (Residential Corridors): As the work spills into the corridors leading to private apartments, the geometry softens. The lines become lighter and more rhythmic, transitioning the viewer from the public “order” to the private “silence.”
The Facade as Heartbeat: The building’s exterior serves as the project’s pulse. This large-scale optical mural turns the facade into a landmark of contemporary visual experience, challenging the boundary between the physical structure and digital-inspired abstraction.
Ground Synthesis: The lines do not stop at the walls; they “spill” onto the playground floor, integrating the play of children into the play of geometry.
